    • A hardware malfunction (e.g. monitor, peripheral, etc.) has occurred.

If a ARCHcon League Marshal does not resume the game after 10 minutes or a ARCHcon Marshal determines that technical difficulties will not allow for the game to resume as normal (including a team’s ability to be in proper position for certain game events such as minion spawn), then the ARCHcon Marshal may make a decision to restart the game or award a game victory to a team, if one team was on the verge of certain defeat (See “Rule 9.5”).

9. Stoppage of Play: Reasons and Procedures

  1. A player that is experiencing technical issues on any team may call for a game restart prior to first blood within the first 5 minutes of the game (i.e. before the timer shows 5:00):

    • A hardware malfunction (e.g. monitor, peripheral, etc.).
    • A physical disruption (e.g. fan interference, table or chair breakage).
    • Configuration issues (e.g. runes, masteries, or summoner spells not being properly applied).
  1. The player must declare the issue in public chat, and then intentionally disconnect.
    • Once the player disconnects, the game is considered null and void and should be restarted unless an ARCHcon League Marshal determines that the conduct represents unfair play. This refreshes the pause time as well.
  2. If an unintentional disconnection occurs within 5 minutes from the start of the match and before first blood OR a player’s client crashes or fails to load after champion selection, then the match must be restarted.
  3. If an unintentional disconnection occurs after 5 minutes or first blood, the game will continue as normal. The crashed player may reconnect into the game as soon as they are able to: pause rules will apply.
  4. If a player intentionally disconnects without specifying a reason, then the game will continue as normal.
  5. If a server crash occurs, then the ARCHcon League Marshal will decide either between:
    • Awarding the game to one of the teams. A game victory will only be awarded in a situation where one team was on the verge of certain defeat (e.g. A nexus was about to be destroyed).
    • Calling for a re-game with same picks, bans, and summoner spells.
  6. Should a game be restarted, players, are required to keep the same champion picks, bans, and summoner spells.

      3. Step 3 – Disqualification of team:
        • Any severe violation will result in the immediate disqualification of the entire team.
  3. Repeated Violations:

Repeated violations will result in escalating punishments one step higher than the initial punishment:

    • If a team/team member commits a moderate violation two times during the tournament, the team will first receive a step 2 punishment, followed by a team disqualification after the second violation.
    • If a team/team member commits a moderate violation and an infraction during the tournament, the team will first receive a step 2 punishment, followed by a team disqualification after the second violation.

The third violation, irrespective of violation type, will result in the disqualification of the entire team.
